English Faculty

About Our Faculty
Our department is built from inspiring and dedicated educators. Not only are our English professors and instructors active in their field, many are renowned in the community of letters. Lincoln University's English faculty is exhilarated by the opportunity to work at an institution with the unique diversity and opportunity found at Lincoln. The English department brims with life. We want to make a difference each time we step onto campus.
When a department is visibly alive, it is apparent to students. We model a life of letters. We show students they too can gain great things from pursuing a study in the humanities. Through faculty speaking engagements on three continents, four countries, and in nearly twenty different states; university panels; over one hundred (100) nationally recognized peer-reviewed publications; conference presentations; the research and writing of four (4) new books, including collections of poetry and novels, English is one of the most prolific departments on campus.
Because of this engagement, the English program produces some of the highest-caliber graduates at Lincoln University as evidenced by consistent external recognition. Our majors and minors are regularly chosen to present at the Sigma Tau Delta International English Honors Convention and are inducted into Who's Who Among College and University Students. We help place students into some of the most prestigious graduate programs across the country.
Our students publish. Our students find lucrative employment. Let us show you who we are. Let us help you find your voice.
