Renaissance Recovery Scholarship

Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: Currently enrolled in a college or university.
Essay: 700 words on “Explore the role of art, music, literature, or other forms of creative expression in the recovery process. How can these mediums be integrated into addiction treatment programs to enhance mental well-being?

 

Missouri Council of the Blind Scholarship

Amount: $2,000 for Missouri Council of the Blind members; $1,000 for non-members.
Eligibility: All legally blind Missouri residents enrolled in or under consideration for admission to post-secondary education programs, technical schools, and certified training institutions.

Boone Believes in Me Grant

Amount: Full Scholarship
Eligibility: Residing in one of the following counties: Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Camden, Cole, Cooper, Crawford, Dent, Gasconade, Howard, Laclede, Maries, Miller, Moniteau, Morgan, Osage, Phelps, Pulaski, or Washington and with a minimum of age 18 at the time of application. Completion of the certification program and certification obtained immediately following the program. All certifications must be obtained by September 30, 2025. Commitment to working at Boone Health for two years after receiving license/certification and working at Boone Health while earning license/certification.

 

Boone Believes in Me RN Grant

Amount: Up to $14,000
Eligibility: Residing in one of the following counties: Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Camden, Cole, Cooper, Crawford, Dent, Gasconade, Howard, Laclede, Maries, Miller, Moniteau, Morgan, Osage, Phelps, Pulaski, or Washington and be at least 18 years old at the time of application, actively participate in nursing coursework by September 30, 2025, successfully complete the RN program and NCLEX, commit to working at Boone Health for two years post-licensure, and work at Boone Health while earning their license.

Essay: What online platforms, tools, and resources do you use to further your understanding of the subject(s) you’re studying? How have these online platforms, tools, and resources helped you learn to better apply your knowledge?

 

Splunk's HBCU Academic Scholarship

Deadline: February 2, 2024 (Extended)
Amount: $10,000
Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen or a legal Permanent Resident of the United States of America 18 years of age or older, enrolled as a full-time student as a rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree for the full 2024-2025 academic year at an accredited HBCU, actively pursuing a degree in computer science, computer engineering, software development, data science, information systems, information technology, networking engineering, web development, UX/UI design, cybersecurity, or other technology-related degrees.
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Essay: In 500 words or less, describe a significant contribution or impact you have made to your school or local community and highlight how the use of your academics, technology, and/or leadership abilities have helped you succeed in your accomplishments. Tell us about your role and involvement, your ideas, the results, and why they are significant to you. In 250 words or less, describe why you would be the best recipient of Splunk’s HBCU Academic Scholarship or in 250 words or less, describe your academic and career goals, including your plans on how to achieve them.
