Admissions

LUEA’s initial target population focuses on students who have applied to Lincoln University but may be under-prepared for college or less than fully committed to a four-year degree track. Each applicant must submit:

  1. A completed admissions application. For assistance in completing the admissions process, please contact LU Admissions.
  2. All required transcripts and supporting documents.
  3. Application to the university’s financial aid process, including submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). For assistance in completing the admissions process, please contact LU Student Financial Services.
  4. Attend an advising meeting with a representative of the Lincoln University Employment Academy to determine a preferred job placement track.
  5. Scores for both writing and math placement tests; tests provided by Lincoln University.

In addition, each applicant must also complete an additional LUEA application process designed to specifically link participants with the most appropriate employment opportunities across participating state agencies. This process will include, but may not be limited to:

  • Assessment of eligibility based upon individual agency internship and/or employment requirements.
  • Agency-specific introduction/orientation sessions.
  • Preliminary participant matching with open and/or pending positions based upon established selection criteria.

 Lincoln University Employment Academy will formally open at the beginning of the fall 2024 semester.
