 LINCOLN UNIVERSITY CHOIR is a non-auditioned ensemble of mixed voices comprised of both music majors and non-music majors from throughout the campus community. The initial purpose for the choir was to provide additional musical education for students and to assist the University’s recruiting efforts. They perform a wide variety of choral repertoire consisting of traditional choral literature, major choral works, spirituals and music from other cultures. The University Choir has performed in Carnegie Hall with the New England Symphonic Ensemble, for the United Negro College Fund, Missouri Educators Association, State Legislature, churches and high schools throughout the Midwest.
