Accessing Services

Need An Academic Accommodation Plan?

We're here to help you succeed—on your terms.

If you have a disability or health condition (permanent or temporary) that may impact your academic experience, you may be eligible for accommodations through Lincoln University’s Office of Access and Ability Services.

We create individualized Accommodation Plans based on your documented needs and help ensure equitable access to courses, materials, and campus resources.

What Can An Accommodation Plan Include?

  • Extended test time or alternate testing environments
  • Note-taking support or access to recording devices
  • Alternate formats for textbooks and materials (e.g., audio, large print, Braille)
  • Readers or scribes for exams
  • ASL interpreters or captioning services
  • Housing accommodations
  • Temporary accommodations after injury or illness

Getting Started Is Easy

Submit an Academic Accommodations Request Form as soon as possible after admission. You’ll work directly with our coordinator to develop a plan that supports your success.

Accessibility and On-Campus Accommodations

If students find that an academic program or extracurricular program is inaccessible, they should report this to the Office of Access & Ability Services or the academic dean of their college. Every effort will be made to ensure that programs are accessible.
