ADMISSION FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS
The Office of the Registrar is responsible for equating and evaluating transfer credits. Individuals may transfer up to ninety credit hours from other colleges and universities.
The Director of the BSW Program assists the Office of the Registrar in the evaluation of courses from accredited social work degree programs. If Lincoln University does not have an equivalent course, students receive elective credit on their transcript.
The Social Work Program does not grant social work course credit for life experience or previous work experiences at the BSW level. This policy follows the accreditation standards set forth by the Council on Social Work Education.
Transfer students are required to complete an application for admission to the university and an application for admission to the social work program. Transfer student applicants must meet the social work program admission requirements.
