Belinda M. Farrington was appointed to the Board of Curators in July 2025. She received her B.S. in Social Science with a minor in Social Work from Lincoln University and the Master of Arts in Human Resources Development from Webster University in Webster Groves, MO.

She is a semi-retired professional with 30 years of experience as a Human Resources Officer and Workforce Development specialist.  Now a freelance contractor, she provides expertise to corporations, small businesses, and non-profits across Saint Louis. Her work spans a variety of sectors, including government, healthcare, and education, and focuses on federally and state-funded workforce development programs. She has led initiatives supporting dislocated workers, at-risk youth, ex-offenders, and older workers, while also creating training programs for thousands of employees across multiple industries to drive growth and productivity.

In addition to her professional achievements, Belinda is dedicated to community development through her involvement in faith-based initiatives. She has contributed to projects like the Arlington Grove housing initiative, Friendly Academy Charter School, and senior meal programs in partnership with the City of Saint Louis.  She is passionate about mentoring young people and supporting their career development. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Friendly Village Senior Housing and Robert Fulton Development Corporation, and is an active member of the Lincoln University Alumni Council. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., initiated at Lincoln University in the Alpha Theta Chapter.
