Belinda M. Farrington of St. Charles joined the Board of Curators in July 2025, appointed by Gov. Mike Kehoe. She received her Bachelor of Science in social science with a minor in social work from Lincoln University and earned a Master of Arts in human resources development from Webster University in Webster Groves, Missouri.
Farrington is a semiretired professional with 30 years’ experience as a human resources officer and workforce development specialist. Now a freelance contractor, she provides expertise to corporations, small businesses and nonprofits across the St. Louis area. Her work spans a variety of sectors — including government, health care and education — and focuses on federally and state-funded workforce development programs.
Farrington has been active in community development through faith-based projects such as the Arlington Grove housing initiative, Friendly Academy Charter School and senior meal programs in partnership with the city of St. Louis. She serves on the board of directors for the Friendly Village Senior Housing and Robert Fulton Development Corp. and is an active member of the Lincoln University Alumni Council. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., initiated into the Alpha Theta chapter at Lincoln University.
