Lincoln University collegiate plates are personalized plates and may contain from one to six characters or from one to five characters plus a dash. The plates cost an additional, tax-deductible $25 (plus state fees). The full $25 goes to Lincoln University to support academic enhancements.
These special collegiate plates are available only for registered Missouri vehicles.

Submit a letter of request. Please include the following:
Your full name
Your current address
Your affiliation with Lincoln University (i.e. student, staff, faculty, alumni, friend, etc.).
Lincoln University will send you a "logo use authorization" form. The logo use authorization form is proof that you contributed to Lincoln University, and will be required when you submit your plate application.
After you receive the forms from us you must complete the personalized plate application at your local license bureau in order to receive an LU plate. Lincoln University plates allow 6 spaces for your personalized message. If you do not wish to include a personalized message on your plates, please write "issue the lowest 4 digit number available" on your form. You will receive an LU plate bearing only four numbers.
Lincoln University plates are considered to be personalized plates and require a $15 personalized fee.
You will need to submit your application, logo use authorization form, and $15 personalized plate fee to your local license bureau; OR You can mail your application, logo use authorization form and $15 to:

Your plates will be ordered by the Department of Revenue. You will be notified by mail when your plates are available for pick up at your local license bureau. All questions about processing should be directed to the Department of Revenue via your local license bureau.
