Graduates of this program will be able to:
- Students will learn how to administer, score and interpret a variety of assessments, including cognitive, behavioral, academic and personality.
- Students will gain skills in behavioral observations and interview techniques.
- Students will learn consultation and collaboration strategies with educators, professionals and parents in order to identify and implement effective instructional methods tailored to students’ needs.
- Students will learn how to analyze and diagnose various exceptionalities that fall under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act
- Students will learn to analyze and identify differences, which include a multi-tiered system for supporting instruction and behavior.
- Students will learn the ethical and legal guidelines of assessment procedures.
- Students will learn how cultural, economic, and social factors, along with the family system, mental health issues can affect assessment results.

Culminating Experience
- There is currently no certification exam for the School Psychological Examiner Certification.
- Individuals must possess a master's degree in education (with certification) to work towards the add-on School Psychological Examiner Certification.
- Students may work towards a Master of Education in Counseling, Master of Education in School Administration and Supervision (K-12), and a School Psychological Examiner Certification concurrently
- Minimum GPA: 3.0
- Students must pass a competency test to pass the Individual IQ Testing Course.
If the candidate is not a graduate of Lincoln University, they will need to provide:

- Applicants will receive a notification letter with information regarding their admission status via their personal email. If admitted, this letter will include information regarding their student ID and University e-mail.
