Joanne M. Burrell Memorial Scholarship

JOANNE M. BURRELL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Awarded annually to an undergraduate creative writing student at Lincoln University whose academic record and sophistication demonstrate diverse interests and a dedication to the humanities. Strong preference is given to candidates with financial need. Minimum GPA 2.5. Scholarship Value: $200

Joanne M. Burrell earned the Silver Scholar Award at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing in 1982. Burrell worked as a registered nurse in Mid-Missouri for more than thirty years, and staunchly supported the arts.
