Tickets
- Each graduate will receive EIGHT (8) tickets. Tickets are required for attendees ages three and up.
- Tickets will only be released to graduates.
- Doors will open for guests one hour before the ceremony.
- There will be a security checkpoint, so please consider time for this process as you plan your and your guests’ arrival.
Parking
- Jason Gym Lot reserved for Graduates
- Mitchell Hall Lot reserved for Platform Guests
- Martin Luther King Hall Lot reserved for Media and Staff
- All other lots are open for guest parking
- Accessible parking is available in the Mitchell Hall parking lot. Guests with mobility issues may also be dropped off in the circle driveway of Richardson Fine Arts Center.

Ceremony Participation Policy
Students must satisfy all academic and financial requirements to be eligible to participate in the commencement ceremonies.
Cap & Gown
All graduates participating in commencement must wear the appropriate attire. You MUST purchase your academic regalia and invitations through Jostens. Be sure to allow enough time for delivery.
Graduation Honors Information
Students receiving a BA, BLS, or BS who have completed sixty (60) hours at Lincoln University, and who have a cumulative GPA (including coursework at other universities) of 3.2 or above will graduate with honors.
GPA 3.2 - 3.5: Cum Laude honors
GPA 3.6 - 3.7: Magna Cum Laude honors
GPA 3.8 - 4.0: Summa Cum Laude honors
Degree Filing
You must complete an application for graduation before you can participate in a graduation ceremony and receive a diploma. The deadline to file for degrees for spring and summer semesters is February 15, 2023.
