The Lincoln University School of Nursing BSN program is now accepting applications for its fall 2026 cohort.
The Lincoln University of Missouri (LU) School of Nursing is now accepting applications for the Fall 2026 Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. Aspiring nurses who want to embark on a rewarding healthcare career are encouraged to apply. The application deadline is March 3, 2026.
LU’s BSN program equips students with the knowledge and skills needed for a successful nursing career. Enrollment is limited to 30 students per semester, reflecting the program’s commitment to providing a personalized and focused learning experience. Graduates are prepared to excel in diverse healthcare settings, with a strong focus on excellence, leadership, and community engagement.
Admission Criteria
- Be admitted to Lincoln University
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Complete at least 48 credit hours, including science, English, statistics, psychology and pre-nursing courses
- Earn a grade of C or higher in all required courses (maximum two attempts)
- Have human anatomy and physiology credits earned within the last five years
- Achieve a minimum ACT score of 19 (taken in the last 5 years) or a HESI A2 score of at least 70%
- Submit a completed application with a $25 fee, three reference letters and all official transcripts
- Participate in a personal interview if invited
- Maintain good academic and non-academic standing
- For non-native English speakers, a TOEFL score of 600 is required
Applications are open to current Lincoln University pre-nursing students and students transferring from other institutions. Full details on prerequisites, testing and application instructions are available on the Lincoln University website.

LU’s BSN program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and fully approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing. Graduates meet the Essentials of Baccalaureate Nursing Education for Professional Practice (AACN, 2008), equipping them with the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to excel in today’s healthcare environment.
