Lincoln University of Missouri will celebrate 100 years of Homecoming tradition October 26 through November 1, 2025.
Lincoln University of Missouri is preparing for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration as the institution marks the 100th anniversary of its Homecoming tradition. Since 1925, generations of Blue Tigers have returned to “the Hill” each fall to honor their shared history, achievements and pride in Lincoln University.
The 2025 Centennial Homecoming Celebration will take place October 26 through November 1, 2025, bringing together students, alumni, faculty, staff and the community for a week of festivities that honor a century of legacy and connection. The milestone represents not only 100 years of Homecoming tradition, but also 100 years of unity and enduring spirit among those who have called Lincoln University home.
Throughout the week, events will highlight the university’s rich culture and longstanding traditions, culminating in a weekend of celebration.

Saturday, October 25
- Pre-Dawn Breakfast at 4 a.m. in the Scruggs University Center Cafe.
Tuesday, October 28
- Lincoln's Got Talent - Celebrity Impersonation Talent Show at 7 p.m. in Richardson Fine Arts Center.
Wednesday, October 29
- DJ Battle at 7 p.m. in the Dawson Hall Parking Lot.
Thursday, October 30
- Mister and Miss Lincoln University of Missouri Coronation at 7 p.m. in Jason Hall.
Friday, October 31
- Slim & Husky's Grand Opening at 11:30 a.m. in the Scruggs University Center Cafeteria.
- The Blueprint Family Reunion Block Party at 11:30 a.m. on the Quad.
- Florene C. Dawkins Art Collective Exhibit II at 12 p.m. in the Dorothy E. Steward Art Gallery, Richardson Fine Arts Center.
- Centennial Masked Ball, benefitting student scholarships, will be held at 5:30 p.m. in Jason Hall.
- Homecoming Step Show at 8:00 p.m. at The LINC.
Saturday, November 1
- Centennial Homecoming Parade at 9 a.m.
- #KeepingIt100 Centennial Homecoming Tailgate at 11 a.m.
- Inaugural Alumni Affinity Pre-Game Reception at 12 p.m. in The LINC Aerobics Room. (click here to RSVP to Joyce McClellan)
- Homecoming Football Game against Truman State University at 2 p.m. in Dwight T. Reed Stadium.
- Homecoming Concert at 8 p.m. at The LINC.
This year’s centennial observance is more than a traditional Homecoming — it is a commemoration of Lincoln University’s enduring impact on its students, alumni and the broader community. For 100 years, Homecoming has represented the spirit of belonging that connects past, present, and future generations of Blue Tigers.
Alumni and friends of the university are encouraged to return to Jefferson City to be part of this historic occasion. The 2025 Centennial Homecoming will honor the institution’s proud past while looking ahead to the next century of Blue Tiger excellence.
