Growing Local: 2026 Gardening Fair - St. Louis Urban Impact Center

A beginner-friendly gardening fair designed for new and aspiring gardeners, this hands-on event focuses on raised bed gardening, soil health, and sustainable horticulture practices that thrive in St. Louis climate and soils.
     
Participants will enjoy a free lunch and refreshments while also receiving hands-on experiences that can be replicated at home. Attendees will also receive take-home projects!
     
This workshop is a collaborative effort between Lincoln University Horticulture Program, LU St. Louis Urban Impact Center, and Active Older Adults (AOA) and North Newstead Association.
