Grow Your Own Mushrooms Workshop
MARCH 26, 2026 | 9 AM–12 PM
Join us to discuss the process of growing oyster mushrooms in bags, the importance of incubation, and how to harvest. We will have a hands-on lesson showing participants how to put straw and inoculated spawn in the bags.
Mushrooms can be eaten fresh, dried or powdered. They add a great balance of flavor, depth, and thickness (powdered) to soups, chilis and stews, while also adding all of the health benefits of the mushroom.
Grey dove oyster mushrooms have a mild, savory, and slightly earthy flavor.
Italian oyster mushrooms have a mild, delicate, and slightly sweet flavor with subtle earthy and nutty undertones.
Seating is limited. Registration is required to take home a bag.
