Faculty Advising Workshop

The LU Center for Teaching and Learning, in collaboration with the Registrar’s Office and University College, invites all faculty to a professional development workshop designed to enhance advising effectiveness and student engagement.

This interactive 90-minute session will focus on practical strategies and tools that help faculty guide students with clarity and confidence. Participants will learn to:

• Review degree plans, transfer credits, and academic progress with accuracy.
• Utilize Self-Service and Navigate360 to access and interpret student data and to document advising interactions clearly and professionally.
• Engage in data-informed conversations that foster student trust and ownership.

Faculty will leave with actionable techniques and renewed confidence in their role as navigators of student success.
