Catina (Tina) R. Shannon of St. Louis joined the Board of Curators on June 1, 2022, appointed by Gov. Mike Parson. She holds a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice/political science from Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph and a Master of Public Administration degree from DeVry University – Keller School of Management in St. Louis.
Shannon is senior director of government relations for Ameren Missouri. She previously served as the legislative representative for Ameren Missouri, and as the conference coordinator for the Missouri Legislative Black Caucus Foundation Inc. Shannon was the deputy director of legislative affairs and the director of constituent affairs for the office of Gov. Bob Holden, and she also served as the chief of staff for Missouri Sen. Paula J. Carter.
Shannon is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. She is a board member of the Missouri Society of Governmental Consultants, the Friends of the Governor’s Mansion, the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Greater Missouri Leadership Foundation.
