Lincoln University School of Nursing Now Accepting Applications for Spring 2025 BSN Program Cohort

September 11th, 2024

LU’s School of Nursing is now accepting applications for the Spring 2025 Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. Aspiring nurses seeking a rewarding healthcare career are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity. The application deadline is September 24, 2024, at 5 p.m.

LU's BSN program equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful nursing career. Enrollment is limited to 30 students per semester, ensuring a personalized and focused learning experience. Graduates are prepared to excel in diverse healthcare settings, with an emphasis on leadership, community engagement, and a commitment to nursing excellence.

The program provides a strong foundation in nursing practice, with LU's dedicated faculty committed to guiding students toward success. In response to the growing demand for highly skilled nurses, the BSN program takes a proactive approach to addressing the national nursing shortage by preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and fully approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing, LU’s BSN program upholds the highest standards of quality education. Graduates meet the program's objectives, which align with the Essentials of Baccalaureate Nursing Education for Professional Practice (AACN, 2008), ensuring they possess the skills and competencies needed to excel in various healthcare environments.

Applications are welcome from current Lincoln University pre-nursing students and transfer students from other institutions. For detailed information about admissions criteria, prerequisite requirements, and application instructions, visit LU's BSN program page.

A distinctive feature of the BSN program is the cohort structure, where students begin and progress together as a cohesive group. This approach fosters a strong sense of community, collaboration, and mutual support, which aids in the development of essential teamwork and leadership skills.

Prospective students interested in joining the Spring 2025 cohort should submit their applications and three letters of reference using the nursing program's designated forms by the deadline. A non-refundable application fee of $25 applies.
