The Alpha Theta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, established at Lincoln University in 1930, continues its legacy of sisterhood, scholarship, service, leadership and community involvement.
As an ongoing celebration of Lincoln University’s Divine Nine community, each month we will highlight a different Divine Nine chapter. Through these monthly features, we’re proud to recognize the legacy, service, leadership and lasting impact of our Divine Nine organizations at LU.
For more than nine decades, the Alpha Theta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, has been part of the Lincoln University community.
Founded on March 30, 1930, the Alpha Theta Chapter has a longstanding history at Lincoln University. The chapter represents the values and traditions of Delta Sigma Theta while continuing to develop its own legacy on campus.
The chapter identifies sisterhood, scholarship, service, social action, leadership and community involvement among its core values. For its members, continuing the legacy of those who came before them also means finding ways to connect with, educate and serve the current Lincoln University community.
