Lincoln University Earns Highly Established Action Plan Seal for 2026 Election Cycle

Lincoln University of Missouri has earned the Highly Established Action Plan Seal for the 2026 election cycle from the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge in recognition of the University’s commitment to strengthening nonpartisan democratic engagement and increasing student voter participation.

The recognition is awarded to colleges and universities that develop comprehensive, nonpartisan democratic engagement action plans that score at least 28 out of 32 possible points on the Strengthening American Democracy Action Planning Guide (SADG) Rubric. Lincoln University’s 2026 action plan, written by Associate Professor of Political Science Elizabeth Dorssom, earned 28 points, placing the institution among campuses nationwide recognized for their civic engagement efforts.

Lincoln University of Missouri is one of 174 campuses recognized during the 2026 election cycle for demonstrating a strong commitment to civic learning and college student voter participation.

The seal recognizes higher education institutions that prioritize nonpartisan civic engagement initiatives and create strategic plans to empower students to become active and informed participants in the democratic process.

Through its action plan, Lincoln University continues to foster opportunities for civic education, voter engagement and democratic participation among students.

The ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge works with colleges and universities across the country to promote democratic engagement, institutionalize civic learning and increase nonpartisan student voter participation.
