Tobias R. Morgan, vice president for student affairs, has been selected as a featured panelist for the 2026 NASPA Annual Conference in Kansas City, highlighting Lincoln University leadership on a national stage dedicated to promoting student success.
NASPA (Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education) is the leading voice for the student affairs profession. At the 108th annual meeting, this year’s conference will gather thousands of higher education leaders to address the most pressing challenges facing today’s students.
Morgan will share his expertise at the session, “Student Success in Action: How Multiple Institutions Approach Student Success Through Structured Mentorship Programs.” The session, developed with Mentor Collective, explores how peer mentorship works, especially how structured, data-driven programs can help increase retention, boost student engagement, and foster a stronger sense of belonging on campus.
Morgan’s selection for this panel is a testament to his extensive career in student affairs and his reputation for driving institutional excellence. Since joining Lincoln University, Morgan has focused on integrating theoretical knowledge with practical, student-focused strategies. Throughout his career, he has been a steady supporter of student equity, retention efforts, and the development of high-impact practices that promote student growth outside the classroom.
“It is an honor to represent Lincoln University on such a significant national platform,” said Morgan. “Mentorship is a cornerstone of student success. By sharing our approaches and learning from other institutions, we are better equipped to build the intentional, supportive communities that our students deserve. I look forward to bringing these insights back to our campus to further enhance the Lincoln experience.”
Through his participation, Morgan continues to support Lincoln University’s commitment to student success by engaging with national leaders and bringing new strategies to campus to strengthen student engagement, retention, and sense of belonging.
The university community is invited to celebrate this accomplishment as Morgan carries the Blue Tiger spirit to Kansas City.
