A new 2026 study abroad opportunity will allow LU undergraduate students to study in Mozambique.
Lincoln University of Missouri will offer undergraduates a unique global learning experience in 2026 through the Mozambique Study Abroad Program. The initiative aims to deepen academic knowledge, expand cultural perspectives and introduce students to careers in international settings. The application deadline is January 16, 2026.
Mozambique Study Abroad Program
Pre-Departure Classes at LU: May 11–15, 2026
Study Abroad in Mozambique: May 16–31, 2026
Open to juniors and seniors, with sophomores eligible by special permission, the Mozambique program provides an immersive cultural and academic experience in Maputo.
Program Highlights:
- Earn 3-6 academic credits applicable toward your major, minor or graduation requirements.
- Designed to be affordable and accessible, with support available to ensure financial feasibility for all qualified students.
- Participate in cross-cultural learning with Mozambican university students.
- Explore career pathways at the U.S. Embassy in Mozambique and within other international organizations.
- Guided by experienced LU faculty, prioritizing student safety and meaningful global engagement.
