The 2026 Great Plains Growers Conference will be held Jan. 8–10 on the campus of Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri.
The Great Plains Growers Conference (GPGC) will return to St. Joseph in January, bringing three days of workshops, conference tracks and a keynote focused on farming, community and stewardship of the land.
The 2026 Great Plains Growers Conference will take place Jan. 8–10, 2026, on the campus of Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri. The conference begins with workshops on Thursday, Jan. 8, followed by conference
tracks on Friday and Saturday.
The 2026 GPGC keynote speaker will be Curtis Millsap, owner and operator of Millsap Farms in Springfield, Missouri. His keynote address is titled “Farming as a Sacred Trust: Building Community at the Intersection of Land, Food & People.”
Thursday workshops include CSA School, Small Farm Livestock and FSMA Training: Produce Safety Alliance Growers Training Course. Conference tracks on Friday, Jan. 9, include Tree Fruit, Vegetable Production, Business Development and Marketing, Diversified Ag Equipment and the SARE Farmer Forum. Saturday, Jan. 10, tracks include Small Fruit, Cut Flowers, Integrated Pest Management, High Tunnel Production and Organic/Regenerative Agriculture.
