Lincoln University Senior Christian Williams Recognized on National Stage Through HBCU Honors

Lincoln University of Missouri is proud to recognize the achievements of Christian Williams, a senior majoring in Marketing who consistently demonstrates excellence, creativity, and leadership. Christian, who is set to graduate in spring 2026, was recently selected for the prestigious HBCU Honors Media Futures Fellowship, an elite opportunity for high-achieving students who make significant contributions to their institutions and communities.
Created by The HBCU Honors Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, this workforce development and mentorship program provides hands-on production, storytelling, and marketing experience for HBCU students. The 2025 participating cohort includes students from Johnson C. Smith University, Lincoln University and Spelman College.
Last November, as part of his selection for the HBCU Honors Media Futures Fellowship, Christian participated in the 2025 HBCU Honors Presented by BET, a nationally televised celebration that spotlighted the spirit of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The annual special celebrated HBCU leadership, legacy, and culture and was hosted by Emmy-nominated comedian Kym Whitley, providing national exposure to students chosen for their excellence and impact through the HBCU Honors Program.
Through his participation in the HBCU Honors Program, Christian had the remarkable opportunity to appear on stage with Grammy-winning artist T.I. during a special tribute to legendary producer and activist David Banner. His involvement in this nationally recognized program and his appearance during a tribute celebrating Black culture, music, and social impact are a testament to his talent, professionalism, and dedication to elevating the HBCU experience.
Christian's selection for the HBCU Honors Program underscores his academic achievements and leadership at Lincoln University. His commitment to his studies, passion for marketing and branding, and ability to represent the university on prominent platforms position him as a role model for his peers and demonstrate the strength of Lincoln University's programs.
In honor of Christian's accomplishments, Lincoln University hosted a special presentation on Thursday, December 11, 2025, in the E-Sports Lounge in Dawson Hall. The university community, including students, faculty, and staff, was invited to recognize Christian's achievements, celebrate his journey, and offer encouragement as he approaches graduation.
