Nike and Lincoln University Partner to Power the “Walk It Out 3K” During Centennial Homecoming Celebration

As part of Lincoln University of Missouri’s historic Centennial Homecoming Celebration, Nike will partner with the University to present the Walk It Out 3K powered by Nike on Friday, October 31, 2025.

The event will unite Lincoln University alumni, students, faculty, staff, and community members for a morning of movement, wellness, and connection at Dwight T. Reed Stadium in Jefferson City. Check-in begins at 6:00 a.m., with the 3K starting at 7:00 a.m.

Participants will complete a six lap course designed to promote physical health, mental well-being, and community spirit. A live DJ will energize the stadium with a curated mix of R&B and Hip-Hop favorites, creating an upbeat atmosphere that celebrates both culture and movement.

The Walk It Out 3K powered by Nike is free and open to the public, with pre-registration required. Please pre-register online.

Nike will provide footwear to the first, second, and third place finishers. The event also supports Nike’s Give Your Best platform, an employee volunteer initiative dedicated to strengthening communities through sport and service.
