Kalem Graham Named Director of Bands at Lincoln University of Missouri

Lincoln University of Missouri is proud to announce the appointment of Kalem Graham as the new director of bands. Graham brings 18 years of experience as a music educator, having taught and led music programs in Virginia, Oklahoma and North Carolina.

Most recently, Graham served as the director of athletic bands at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where he led the university’s marching band and pep band. Prior to that, he held the position of assistant director of bands at both Langston University and North Carolina Central University. In these roles, he was responsible for arranging music, conducting ensembles and leading recruitment efforts.

Graham holds a Bachelor of Arts in music from Virginia State University and a Master of Arts in music from Radford University. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Music Education at Liberty University.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Graham is a devoted father to his four-year-old daughter, Ava.

Lincoln University welcomes Graham as he brings his experience, dedication and leadership to the band program and broader university community.
