Lincoln University Welcomes Darryl Glenn as Assistant Dean for Residence Life and Student Development

Lincoln University of Missouri is pleased to announce the appointment of Darryl Glenn as Assistant Dean for Residence Life and Student Development, bringing over a decade of specialized experience in higher education housing and student affairs to the Blue Tiger community.

Glenn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design Technology Management from the University of Central Missouri and a Master's degree in Liberal Studies with a focus on Organizational Leadership from Fort Hays State University. His comprehensive educational background provides a unique foundation for his work in student development and residential programming.

With over ten years of experience in higher education, Glenn has held various positions primarily within Housing and Residence Life. His extensive responsibilities have included managing large-scale budgets, emergency response planning, overseeing living-learning communities, providing leadership development training for both students and professional staff, and collaborating with enrollment and facilities teams to meet retention goals. This breadth of experience positions him well to enhance Lincoln University's residential experience and support student success initiatives.

Glenn is dedicated to fostering a respectful and inclusive living environment within residence life. He supports students by providing enriching cultural experiences and implementing purposeful programming that reflects these values. His commitment to professional development is evidenced by his active participation in housing associations within his professional network, where he has served on multiple state and national committees in student affairs and presented at conferences.

"My goal as a Student Affairs Administrator is to support, challenge, and celebrate the diverse communities I serve across higher education," Glenn said. "As a leader, I aim to inspire enthusiasm and improve individuals' lives through coaching, mentoring, and strategic vision."

In his role as Assistant Dean for Residence Life and Student Development, Glenn is dedicated to fostering personal and interpersonal growth and improving the overall well-being of the student body. His appointment reinforces Lincoln University's commitment to providing exceptional residential experiences that support academic success and personal development.

With the addition of Glenn to the Student Affairs team, Lincoln University continues to strengthen its capacity to serve students and create meaningful residential communities that enhance the overall Blue Tiger experience.
