A group of LU students shrank the globe on Tuesday, April 22, when they came together for an annual photo celebrating the university’s international students.

A vibrant group of international students arranged on circular concrete steps outside a brick building, some waving and smiling, others holding flags, showcasing cultural pride and unity on a sunny day.

“We have about 200 international students at Lincoln,” said Jeannie Culberson, Lincoln University director of international services. Many of the students were in class or attending other university-related events and unable to attend the photo shoot, Culberson said.

Lincoln University journalism students were happy to showcase their skills at taking photos near Page Library. Journalism drone pilot Joel Stroschein used a DJI Mavic Air 3S to capture aerials, while photography student Caroline Glydewell used her skills with a GoPro Hero 12 to memorialize the event from the ground.
