The Black Harvest: A Novel of The American Civil War

Livingston Press at the University of West Alabama, publisher of Mr. Daren Dean's novel The Black Harvest: A Novel of The American Civil War, has nominated that book for the Pen/Faulkner Award and the W.Y. Boyd Literary Award for Excellence in Military Fiction. In addition, an excerpt from the novel ("The Centralia Massacre") has also been nominated for a Pushcart Prize by its publisher.
