HSSI Ribbon-Cutting
Join Lincoln University of Missouri as we celebrate the opening of the Health & Security Sciences Institute (HSSI), a transformational facility that will advance health care and crisis response education throughout Missouri and the Midwest.
The 40,000-square-foot HSSI will expand Lincoln University’s nursing program and Law Enforcement Training Academy while providing a collaborative space for local, state and regional agencies to engage with students, faculty and community partners. The facility reflects Lincoln University’s commitment to serving underserved populations and strengthening community responsiveness by preparing the next generation of health care professionals, public safety leaders and crisis response personnel.
Through innovative training, hands-on learning and strategic partnerships, HSSI will equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to address critical health care and crisis response needs across Missouri and beyond.

Parking & Shuttle Information:
Parking at HSSI will be reserved for VIP guests and credentialed media. We encourage faculty, staff and guests attending the ceremony to use the complimentary shuttle service.
Shuttle pickup and drop-off locations:
- Scruggs University Center (SUC) front entrance
- Jason Gym parking lot
- Parking lot near the tennis courts at the corner of E. Dunklin Street and Lafayette Street
Shuttles will begin operating at 9:15 a.m. and will run continuously until 12 p.m. (noon).
