Growing Local: 2026 Gardening Fair - Kansas City Urban Impact Center

Join us for a hands-on gardening workshop designed for beginning and intermediate gardeners. This workshop will provide practical tips and guidance on building healthy soil, designing productive garden spaces, growing in containers, and using composting systems to improve sustainability and overall success of your garden.
     
Participants will gain the knowledge and confidence needed to start or improve their home or community garden. Transplants will be provided for attendees to support hands-on learning and continued success beyond the workshop.
          
Refreshments provided free of charge!
