Sheep Shearing School

Day 2 of 2. LU Cooperative Extension hosts this annual hands-on workshop where participants will learn how to care for sheep, proper equipment set-up and maintenance, and how to separate fleece for bagging.

Schedule:

Thursday, March 5
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Review and shear sheep
Working lunch (provided)
Parasites control
Continue shearing sheep
Clean up and adjourn

Please bring your own equipment if you have it. Some will be available to borrow. Wear comfortable clothes and proper shoes.
