Denim Day Poetry Slam
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. On April 30th, Rise Up Foundation invites you to wear denim for sexual violence awareness. Wearing denim combats victim blaming and provides opportunities to educate others about sexual violence. Post your denim day photos of you and your friends using #denimday #riseupfoundation

Sexual Violence Prevention Walk and Vigil
Immediately following the poetry slam, students and community members will walk in solidarity to take a stand against sexual violence. The evening will conclude with a vigil on the Quad with a call to action.
