 LU-MRRL Lecture Series presents...Native Plants for Winter Decoration dark green & gold graphic with botanical illustrations

You are invited to the upcoming LU-MRRL Lecture Series event, "Native Plants for Winter Decoration." This event is scheduled for Thursday, November 21 from 6:30 - 8 pm at the Art Gallery, Missouri River Regional Library (214 Adams Street, Jefferson City). This talk will feature Dr. Nadia Navarrette-Tindall, professor and state extension specialist with LU's Cooperative Extension Program. The complete talk summary is below:
     
Join Dr. Nadia Navarrette-Tindall, professor and state extension specialist with LU's Cooperative Extension Program, as she discusses native plants and their use in seasonal decor. Attendees will learn about native plants that can be used to make wreaths, garlands, and other natural-looking ornaments. These specific types of decor can help people celebrate the holidays, and if placed outside, they can serve as food for local birds.
