Health & Security Science Institute Groundbreaking Ceremony

All Blue Tigers and community are invited to celebrate the groundbreaking for Lincoln's future Health and Security Science Institute.

The Health and Security Science Institute (HSSI) at Lincoln University will bring together students and faculty from nursing, health sciences, STEM, pre-med, and security sciences alongside local, state, and regional agencies for a collaborative exchange of ideas and workforce development. The focus will be on meeting the needs of underserved populations and improving community responsiveness. 

Building on Lincoln's successful nursing education program and its Law Enforcement Training Academy, LU's HSSI will prepare healthcare and crisis response professionals. The Institute aims to establish itself as a hub of expertise that benefits various entities, including police, fire, EMS, correctional agencies, Lincoln students, Jefferson City families, state organizations, and private security and cybersecurity firms.
