There have been crucial changes to our deregistration procedures for fall 2024. Before receiving your Residential Housing key, you MUST:

1. Complete your FAFSA.
2. Have a student account balance below $600 OR a payment plan for fall 2024.
3. Pay all past-due balances.

Failure to meet these conditions will result in immediate deregistration.

Steps to take now!

1. Check your student account to ensure there are no missing items. 
2. Accept your loans: Use the Self-Service portal to accept your loans. First-time borrowers must also complete the Master Promissory Note (MPN) and Entrance Counseling.
3. Consider a Parent PLUS Loan: If your balance is still too high, discuss this option with your parents. If approved, they must complete the MPN. If denied, you'll receive an additional $2,000 in loans.
4. Email Student Financial Services: Once you complete the above steps, notify SFS@LincolnU.edu. Indicate in your email if you want a payment plan. Payment plans created before August 1st require a 25% down payment; those created in August require a 50% down payment.
