All are invited to attend the Lincoln University of Missouri Ant/His 495: Public History students' presentations of their Public History Project Proposals. Throughout the Fall 2023 semester a total of 15 students enrolled in this course received instruction about Public History for the purpose in engaging in local public history themselves. Part of the requirements of this course involved them in working on a project for one of three community stake holders, thereby gaining valuable applied public history experience while also serving the greater Jefferson City's community interests.

On Tuesday, December 5 at 6 pm these Lincoln University of Missouri students will be presenting their Public History Project Proposals to the public to demonstrate what they learned and contribute to the public discourse on local and Missouri histories. Please attend to learn from them and get a glimpse at where public history may be going in the future.

This event is open to the public and free to attend. It will be held at the Historic City of Jefferson, located at 601 East High Street in downtown Jefferson City.
