You are invited to attend the next LU-MRRL Lecture Series event occurring Monday, July 24 at 6:30 pm, which is titled: The Native Plant Outdoor Lab at Lincoln University: A Garden of Excellence.

During this presentation, given by Dr. Nadia Navarrete-Tindall, state extension specialist for Lincoln University Cooperative Extension's Specialty Crop Program (Native Plants), attendees will learn about plants that can be adopted in urban areas that provide beauty from spring to winter. Information about their importance for pollinators and as food for humans will be discussed. Native plants can be beautiful and easy to get established if you choose the right plant for your garden or farm.

These gardens are open to the public, and guided tours are available upon request. Established in 2009, the gardens were established in 2009 and are maintained every year with the help of volunteers and the Specialty Crops Program staff.
