LU-MRRL Lecture Series

The LU-MRRL Lecture Series invites you to attend the next event, "The Immersive Reading Experience: Creative Writing Students of Lincoln University", happening at the Missouri River Regional Library (214 Adams St in Jefferson City, MO) on Monday, April 24 at 6:30 pm.
For this event, the undergraduate poets from the English 271: Introduction to Fiction Writing and English 375/475: Intermediate and Advanced Fiction Workshop (taught by Daren Dean, novelist and assistant professor of English), including Emily Botts, Allison Bridges, Aalycia Brown, Parrish Morris, Janae Weber-Moore, Chenia Walker, Hollis Foster, Jestine Lange, and Izabella Ort, will present a public reading and engage directly with a live audience.
This reading is open to the general public, and we hope friends of the English program at Lincoln University and students from neighboring colleges and universities may attend. Fiction and short story enthusiasts across mid-Missouri are always welcome to join the program in support of these student writers.
The Lincoln University Fiction Workshop showcases the range and energy of contemporary prose voices.
