LUPD Instructor Development Course

The Lincoln University Police Academy – Instructor Development Course will qualify the participant as an instructor.

The Instructor Development course is a 40-hour, Missouri POST certified course, designed to prepare you for instructor duties. This course focuses on the best practices in adult learning and instructors’ duties and responsibilities.

Attendees will be required to prepare and deliver presentations. Topics for the course include Principles of Learning; Role of the Instructor; Lesson Plan Construction; Methods of Instruction; Training Aids; Operational Risk Management; Testing; and Legal Aspects.

The course will also provide participants with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to become successful public speakers in any setting, covering any topic.

Course date: February 6th - 10th 2023.

Time: 8 A.M. - 6 P.M.

FEE: $400.00 per student
