LU-MRRL Lecture Series: LU Poetry Workshop Live Series
The Lincoln University-Missouri River Regional Library Lecture Series invites you to attend our upcoming event, which will feature Lincoln University Students enrolled in English 376: Intermediate Poetry Workshop and English 476 Advanced Poetry Workshop (taught by Elijah Burrell, poet and associate professor of English). This event titled, "Lincoln University Poetry Workshop Live Series," will take place at the Missouri River Regional Library (214 Adams Street in Jefferson City, MO) on Wednesday, November 29 at 6:30 pm.
The undergraduate poets from the English 376: Intermediate Poetry Workshop and English 476 Advanced Poetry Workshop (taught by Elijah Burrell, poet and associate professor of English) will present a public reading and engage directly with a live audience. This reading is open to the general public, and we hope friends of the English program at Lincoln University and students from neighboring colleges and universities will attend. Poetry enthusiasts across mid-Missouri are always welcome to join the program in support of student writers. The Lincoln University Poetry Workshop Live Series showcases the range and energy of contemporary poetic voices with an emphasis on cultural and aesthetic diversity.
