Learning in Retirement (LIR) Scholarship
Learning in Retirement (LIR) is sponsoring a $1,000 scholarship (for the upcoming Fall semester) to an undergraduate student in any major area that meets the following criteria:
Sophomore or Junior standing
GPA of 3.0 or better
If a student is interested in applying, he/she will need to complete the Scholarship Application Form, provide a resume with evidence of community/campus involvement, a unofficial copy of his/her transcript, and a one-page essay (12 pt, single spaced) describing his/her educational goals and how the scholarship will assist in achieving those goals. Applications need to be returned to the Continuing Education Office (Lorenzo Greene Hall, 900 Leslie Boulevard, Suite C) no later than April 13, 2015.
