New Student Orientation

Congratulations on your admission to Lincoln University! We are pleased that you have chosen to pursue your educational goals at LU, and we are excited to have you join the Blue Tiger family. As a new student, you are required to attend orientation. During orientation, you will be introduced to LU through various activities and sessions to make a smooth transition to life at Lincoln University.

The New Student Orientation sessions will give you and your family members information about financial aid, registration, advisement, and campus safety and security. You'll also make new friends, begin to form relationships with LU's faculty and staff and take a campus tour.

Once you're admitted to LU, freshmen and transfer students can register to attend one of the required New Student Orientation sessions. Also, remember to review Your Next Steps checklist or make hotel and travel arrangements if you're coming from out of town.

Submit Final High School Transcripts

Your final high school transcript will need to come directly from your high school counselor before you can register for new student orientation. The high school counselors can submit final high school transcripts through one of the following ways:

  • Through Parchment Express
  • Through National Student Clearinghouse
  • Email an official copy to
  • Mail an official transcript in a sealed envelope to the following address:
