Student Government Association

 

Our Mission

The mission of the Student Government Association (S.G.A) is to ensure that Lincoln University of Missouri is fully committed to serving the collective interests of the student body. Our purpose is to serve as the voice of the student body. 

The S.G.A leadership strives to improve the quality of the student experience through the creation and continuation of viable student services.  We also seek to enhance University spirit, protect traditions and support all students and student organizations in their academic and community-driven endeavors.

We are here to support the personal success and development of each of our students. To achieve this, the S.G.A. must be proactive in enacting legislations, which addresses the concerns of the student as presented by members of our government. S.G.A. strives to develop a thriving, well-recognized group of students in order to make Lincoln University a better place in which to pursue academic achievement and in turn, improve the Lincoln University community, Jefferson City community and the great state of Missouri.
