Lincoln University to stream inauguration activities

Expect traffic restrictions around campus

Those unable to attend the Inauguration of 19th President of Lincoln University Dr. Kevin D. Rome, Sr. will have the opportunity to view the historic event online. The installation ceremony, which begins at 9 a.m. on Friday, October 4, will be available at http://streaming.more.net/LUPI to the first 500 people to log on. The stream will be available through the program’s entirety.

Those planning to attend the inauguration are asked to arrive before 8:45 a.m., at which time the doors to Mitchell Auditorium will be closed for entry. Anyone arriving after this time is asked to report to Jason Hall to view the live feed. This location will also be used in the event of full capacity in Mitchell Auditorium.

The 800 block of Chestnut Street and the 700 and 800 blocks of Dunklin Street will be closed from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday, October 4. Reserved parking for delegates, platform and special guests will be in the Mitchell Hall, Richardson East Parking and Elliff Hall South Parking Lots. All other on campus lots and street parking on Lafayette Street will be available to visitors.
