Schedule of Events
The schedule for ROAR is online, (CLICK HERE) but we have also enclosed one for your convenience.
Orientation is $50.00 per student and participation is REQUIRED. Guest fees are $25.00 per guest (children age 6 and under are free). Your fees should be paid by Thursday, August 16, 2012. We are unable to accept online payments at this time. If you choose to pay onsite please be sure to include the $10.00 late fee.
We accept check, cash, and money orders onsite. All payments should be made to Lincoln University. Visa and MasterCard are the accepted forms of payment.
Special Accommodations and Academic Services
If you require any special assistance or academic services in testing please contact the Office of Disability Services at (573) 681-5167. Examples of these types of services include, but are not limited to an Individual Education Plan (IEP), dyslexia, documented learning disabilities, blindness, hearing impaired, additional time in test-taking, etc. Students MUST self-identify and register with Disability Services in order to receive accommodations during ROAR Orientation.

Shot Records and Health History Forms
Lots of students forget to turn these in, but if you want to avoid standing in line, submit your shot records (immunization forms) and your Health History Form (online) before attending orientation. This will save you lots of time.

Save yourself some time and get your Award Letter processed sooner. If you have questions, write them down and send them an email. During the summer many students and families are calling with the same questions and the Financial Aid department wants to make sure they can serve as many persons as possible, as quickly and as efficiently as possible.
Use these tips:
· Complete your FAFSA (if you haven’t already)
· Make sure you complete your Verification Form and submit the appropriate documentation to the Financial Aid Office (W-2’s and 1040’s for all persons in the household from 2011)
· Make sure you review all emails and correspondences received from them ASAP.
Lodging is NOT available during the AUGUST orientation for students or guests. Students moving to campus may check into their rooms beginning on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at 12 noon (August 18 for females in Dawson Hall only).
Lodging for Family and Guest
As a friendly reminder, we are unable to provide lodging for family or guest during ROAR; however, we have some great lodging options available in the community. A list of local hotels, all within minutes of the campus, and with great discounted rates is provided online under Lodging During ROAR.
***If you’re planning to move to campus in August, be sure to complete your housing contract and return it ASAP. Also, remember your $125.00 housing application fee must be sent in to secure your room for the fall. The contract can be found online at: http://www.lincolnu.edu/web/residential-life/freshman-information.
