Senator Mike Kehoe to Deliver Commencement Address

SENATOR MIKE KEHOE TO DELIVER COMMENCEMENT ADDRESS
Jefferson City, MO- Missouri Senator Mike Kehoe will serve as the keynote speaker for the 2014 Commencement exercises at Lincoln University on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at 10 a.m. in Dwight T. Reed Stadium. Kehoe, who represents the Sixth Senatorial District, is Chairman of the Senate Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and Vice Chair of the Commerce, Consumer Protection, Energy and the Environment Committee, as well as a member of the Administration, Appropriations and Governmental Accountability and Fiscal Oversight Committees. He was elected to the Senate in 2010, and has served as the Assistant Majority Floor Leader since November 2012.
Kehoe, a native of St. Louis, was owner of Osage Industries, before purchasing the Ford, Lincoln-Mercury automotive sales franchises in 1992. He earned national recognition from the Small Business Association, Ford Motor Company and the Automotive Hall of Fame. He sold the franchises in 2011. Sen. Kehoe and his wife, Claudia, are the parents of four children.
The university will honor the senator with the Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters during the Commencement ceremony.
