FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY PRESIDENT TO SERVE AS BREAKFAST SPEAKER
Jefferson City, MO- Lincoln University President Dr. Kevin D. Rome, Sr. will serve as the keynote speaker for the 34th Annual Prayer Breakfast, hosted by the Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce. The breakfast is scheduled for Wednesday, November 27, at 7 a.m. at the Missouri Farm Bureau, 701 S. Country Club Drive.
Rome, the 19th President of Lincoln University, is a new resident of the community, since taking office on June 1 of this year. While he is still getting acclimated, after just six months he already feels at home. “I have had the pleasure of already meeting so many wonderful people here who have made me feel welcome right from the start.” He adds that the invitation to speak is just a testament to the spirit of Jefferson City. “The Annual Prayer Breakfast dates back more than three decades. As a newcomer to this community, it is indeed an honor to be invited with open arms to play any role in what is a pre-Thanksgiving tradition in our community.”
The breakfast is sponsored by Missouri State Senator Mike Kehoe. Tickets are $15 and are available by emailing Ashley at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 573-638-3590.
