Alumnus Memorialized with Highway Renaming

ALUMNUS AND FALLEN OFFICER MEMORIALIZED WITH HIGHWAY RENAMING
Jefferson City, MO- An alumnus of Lincoln University has been posthumously honored by the state of Missouri. A section of Interstate 70 in St. Louis City has been renamed the Police Officer Daryl Hall Memorial Highway. Hall, a 2002 graduate of Lincoln University, was a St. Louis Metropolitan Police Officer who was killed off-duty while investigating shots fired outside of a nightclub.
A dedication and unveiling of the Police Officer Daryl Hall Memorial Highway sign is scheduled for Monday, November 25, at 11 a.m. at the St. Louis Dream Center, 4324 Margaretta. The location of the memorial stretch of highway runs east between Union and Kingshighway Boulevards.
