Lincoln University Parent’s Association (LUPA)
As a Lincoln University parent, you have the wonderful opportunity to be involved in your student's Lincoln experience and to guide them along the way. Lincoln University would like to be your assistance in that mission, for that reason, we have instituted the Lincoln University Parent Association. Join the Parent Association to meet other parents, voice opinions and find valuable resources.
Mission Statement:
The LUPA mission is to engage parents in the promotion of student success and academic excellence, involvement in furthering the university’s mission and goals, empower families to play a supportive role in student education through volunteer and programming initiatives, and provide a forum for networking with other parent’s of Lincoln University student’s.
Goals:
The Office of New Student and Guest Programs is committed to providing parents with opportunities that provide an insight into Lincoln University life and information that keep them informed of campus news that may be important or of general interest. The following are a few examples of involvement opportunities that will be available to Lincoln parents:
· Serving as a volunteer during ROAR Parent Orientation and other programming initiatives that brings parents into a closer relationship with the University
· Promoting and attending Parent & Family Weekend
· Encourage participation and support of LUPA
· Access to the LUPA E-Newsletter and list serve
· Assisting New Student and Guest Programs with a series of campus events
· Attending campus and community events
